Early Rider Program (4-6 yrs. old)

Lesson Format:  1 hr. private lesson.  30 min mounted, 30 min on the ground  (arrive 15 min before mounted time and stay for 15 min after)

Ages: 5 & 6 years old.  

Start Dates: Anytime.  

Program Fee: $452 (includes HST) per 8-week session  

Program Length: Indefinite. Students may join a group lesson once they are 7 yrs old. Exceptions may be made on an individual basis.

Is your 5 yr old child horse-obsessed already and can’t wait to get in the saddle? We have the program for you! These special private lessons enable young horse enthusiasts to get an early start riding.  The private lesson environment provides the one on one attention necessary for fun and safety.  During lessons students will learn proper riding position and develop comfort both around horses and in the saddle through a combination of games and riding activities.  They will also learn parts of the horse and tack, colours of the horse and more! Children can join a group lesson once they reach 7 years of age.

We are proud to introduce our NEW riding level system.  Developed for camp, we have decided to integrate the levels into all of our lessons.  Each 8 week session, students will have the opportunity to work toward the next riding level.  

We also offer EC Rider Level testing once per year. Our head coach, Lindsay Mahon, is an EC Level III coach so we are able to test up to rider Level 6.  Let us know if you are interested in upcoming testing dates!
