At Raynham Stables Day Camp!
Raynham
Stables offers an exciting equestrian co-ed day camp for riders aged
7 -15, beginner to advanced. Sessions are available from 2 to 8
weeks in length, each with their
own unique theme. Past themes
include: Survivor: Raynham Stables, Equestrian Olympics, Back to the
Future and Knights of the Round Table. Follow the links on the left
for details regarding this year’s themes and dates.
Each jam-packed session features
English riding lessons (2
rides
daily), horsemanship,
arts & crafts, swimming, games
&
archery.
Campers have a short
evaluation lesson in the morning on
first day and are grouped into classes by riding ability to ensure they get the most out of
their lessons. Our dedicated, talented riding instructors are dedicated to providing fun
and educational riding lessons. Advanced riders will
build on their existing skills, have the opportunity to go on hacks,
prepare for showing and even jump some cross country fences! Beginners
will confidently learn riding basics through lunge work, games and small lesson
sizes. By the end of a two week session, a non-rider will often be able to
walk, trot, canter and even jump small fences.
Raynham Stables believes that horsemanship is imperative to producing safe, well-rounded riders. Our specially designed stable management program is broken down into levels that will challenge riders of all abilities. Information is learned through games and activities and allows campers the opportunity to achieve a new level each session.
Camp concludes with an overnight complete with campfire, songs, roasted marshmallows and camp out with new friends. The final day is celebrated with a theme based
Parent Show that will entertain family and friends and demonstrate campers’ new skills!
